NEW YORK (WABC) — Fans on a ferry headed to the Yankees game struck out when they ended up getting stranded instead.
When they arrived at the dock near the stadium, they encountered a parked CSX train blocking their way.
Seastreak said it keeps CSX up to date on the game schedule, in order to prevent such blocking of access during games.
According to one passenger, they were stuck on the vessel for 90 minutes before it turned around and brought everyone on board back to Midtown East.
CSX said it doesn’t have any reports of a train blocking the area but it is still looking into it.
