Horse briefly freed after carriage overturns in Central Park

CENTRAL PARK (WABC) — A horse was freed briefly after a carriage overturned in Central Park on Monday.

One horse carriage pulled up to the 7th Avenue line when the horse became startled and collided with another horse carriage, causing it to overturn.

The driver of the overturned carriage was trapped and the horse was released when it overturned.

The driver was able to get out of the overturned carriage, and the horse was found nearby shortly after.

No other injuries were reported.
