Waterfront home in Ocean Beach, Fire Island completely destroyed in fire

OCEAN BEACH, Long Island (WABC) — A fire on Fire Island completely destroyed a waterfront home.

Flames tore through the house on Bay Walk in Ocean Beach around 4 p.m. Friday.

The homes on both sides of the home that was destroyed suffered some damage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

No injuries were reported.
