NEW YORK (PIX11) — The NYPD officer who forcibly threw a cooler at Eric Duprey, 30, as he was driving a motorized scooter during a drug bust, has been convicted of second-degree manslaughter. The officer, Sergeant Erik Duran, 38, forcefully threw a cooler at him, causing his death, according to officials.
