‘A Soulful Christmas: A Groovy Musical Revue’ is a far-out 1970s throwback

“A Soulful Christmas: A Groovy Musical Revue” is from the creators of “Mighty Real: A Fabulous Sylvester Musical” and “An Evening With Phyllis Hyman.”

This 1970s holiday musical show is back for its ninth year.

Director Kendrell Bowman and actor Denzel Fields join us to discuss this show, which is for lovers of gospel, R&B and soul. The show transports you back to the disco era into a “groovy wonderland” inspired by the hit TV show “Soul Train.”

The show runs Dec. 18-21.
