Happy high holidays, New York! Today is officially 4/20 and stoner-fied celebrations will be held across all five boroughs in its groovy honor. Long gone are the days when cannabis-fueled enjoyment was relegated to the downlow: from large outdoor gatherings hosted by some of the coolest weed brands out there, to a little bend-and-buzz morning yoga session, there’s no better time to light up than now. Along with watching the best stoner movies and listening to the best weed songs, here are six NYC events that will help you keep the buzz going through 4/20.

Get a buzz (literally) with a morning yoga session
Kick off 4/20 festivities on the right foot with a guided morning yoga session (all experience levels welcome!) designed to “blend mindful movement, community, and cannabis culture,” led by Amanda Hitz of Bend & Blaze. Held from 8:45am to 10am at Superfly on the Upper West Side, the relaxing event will also include bagels, coffee and in-store shopping following the class. RSVP here with a $2 donation to reserve your mat.
Satisfy your 4/20 munchies with free pizza
Speaking of Superfly, the uptown cannabis destination is partnering with Uno Pizzeria to offer free and discounted slices and limited-edition desserts on Monday, April 20. From 10am to 10pm, customers who spend $70+ will receive a complimentary green pizza. Patrons can also unlock a 4/20 Munchies Special: Follow both Superfly and Uno on Instagram and get a $4.20 personal pie and access to a secret dessert menu item, while supplies last.
Head to DUMBO for a free weed-focused street festival
Presented by ¡High Mi Madre! and Brooklyn Bazaar, Tha People’s W33D Festival is back on 4/20 from 4pm to midnight, taking over DUMBO with BIPOC-owned brands from all NYC boroughs, free giveaways, lively music (DJ YANKA, DJ Sadboy) and a full slate of workshops (paint your own ashtray, make your own pocket altar and more) and activities (sound bowl meditations, puff-and-paint sessions, communal seed planting and more). Admission is free but a suggested donation of $5-$10 will help support community events year-round.
Show off your rolling skills in a joint showdown
Think you’re the best joint roller in the five boroughs? Prove it at the Pinky Swear Stoner Olympics: From 6pm to 10pm, teams of three will go head-to-head competing across speed, style and size for major prizes. RSVP here by noon for more details and to find out the full location.
Let out all the weed giggles at the Bell House
Eight comedians — all but one under the herbal influence — will take the stage at Brooklyn’s the Bell House on Monday evening for a special 4/20 edition of
Keep the good vibes going with a community clean-up
Washington Square Park is one of the city’s most popular spots to spark up, which means things can get pretty messy there on 4/20. Helpfully, Eaton Botanicals, alongside Chime and Chill, Housing Works Cannabis Co. and Weedcyclers, are hosting a community clean-up at the park on Tuesday, April 21. Meet up at the Central Fountain at 3:45p, help toss trash and gussy up the green space from 4pm to 5pm, and then stick around for a post-clean-up hangout at Housing Works Cannabis Co. Volunteers will receive a special shopping discount; there will also be cleaning supplies, snacks and products from Eaton Botanicals and Chine and Chill on offer. Sign up here.
