Police said they are investigating after a man was stabbed to death and a woman was injured inside a Queens home during the early hours of Sunday morning.
According to police sources, the incident occurred inside an apartment building in Jamaica, located 101-11 86 Avenue, at around 2:24 a.m. Sources with knowledge of the incident report that the suspect knocked on an apartment door, and when a 32-year-old woman opened the door, he slashed her across her right arm.
He then attacked a 41-year-old man inside, stabbing him in the chest and mortally wounding him before fleeing the scene.
EMS and cops from the 102nd Precinct rushed to the scene. Both victims were rushed to Jamaica Hospital, where the man was pronounced dead. The woman was listed in stable condition.
Police did not immediately have a description of the perpetrator or motive for the attack.
As of April 1, murder in the 102nd Precinct is up 100%, with two slayings taking place since the beginning of the year compared to the same time in 2025.
In this latest case, no arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
