MASPETH, Queens (WABC) — New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani will deliver his “100 Days Address” in Queens on Sunday to highlight his progress on campaign promises.
Mamdani will deliver the address at 6 p.m. at the Knockdown Center in Maspeth. While the event is not open to the public, it will be streamed live.
Prior to the address, Mamdani will join Sen. Bernie Sanders and Sara Nelson, international president of the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA, at a Union Now rally in Hell’s Kitchen.
The mayor officially marked his 100th day in office on Friday by cleaning up illegal dumping in the Bronx. The cleanup was followed by a lead inspection with the Department of Housing Preservation and Development.
Since taking office in January, Mamdani says he has been working to deliver on several promises, from a rent freeze, to free buses and childcare, while also confronting pressing challenges facing the city.

One major campaign promise he has already delivered is universal childcare for 2-year-olds, set to roll out this September. City officials say the program is expected to save working parents about $20,000 per child.
“We know there are too many parents whom the traditional model for child care has forced them to rush out of the office, has forced them to pray that their stars will align so that they will be able to pick up their child on time, only for them to sometimes work a double shift,” Mamdani said.
Mamdani is the city’s first Muslim mayor sworn into office.
