4-year-old kidnapped from laundromat in Patchogue, police say

PATCHOGUE, Long Island (WABC) — A four-year-old girl was kidnapped from a laundromat on Long Island.

Police say the girl was with her mother at Laundry Kingdom on East Main Street in Patchogue when a man led her out the back door.

Her mother reported her missing and police began searching the area. The mom found the girl at the library down the street.

Police identified the suspect from surveillance video and arrested him when they spotted him nearby.
