NEW YORK CITY (WABC) — The last of New York’s striking nurses will head back to work next week with their new contract ratified.
They overwhelmingly voted on Saturday to accept a deal with New York Presbyterian Hospital. This ends the longest and largest walkout, lasting 41 days.
Their new contract is the first ever with protections against artificial intelligence.
Thousands of other nurses are already back on the job at Montefiore and Mount Sinai.
