Cannabis dispensary bursts into flames in Irvington, New Jersey

IRVINGTON, New Jersey (WABC) — A three- alarm fire inside a cannabis dispensary injured two firefighters in New Jersey.

Officials say the fire started inside second floor of the building containing the dispensary on Clinton Avenue in Irvington around 3 a.m. Saturday.

One firefighter suffered a shoulder injury, the other one had an eye injury. They were both taken to the hospital and have since been released.

There were no occupants inside the building and no other injuries were reported.

The fire was placed under control around 4:30 a.m.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
