Robert Saleh is back in the head coaching ranks.
The former Jets head coach and 49ers defensive coordinator is set to be hired as the next head coach of the Titans, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported early Tuesday morning.
Saleh had been in Nashville on Monday for his in-person interview and was one of three finalists for the Titans job.
The Titans interviewed a total of 15 candidates for the job.
Saleh went 20-36 in three-plus seasons as Jets coach from 2021-24.
