The Yankees have unveiled their latest stadium dining lineup and it reads like a greatest-hits tour of New York’s food scene, plus a few curveballs you definitely won’t see coming. The update brings together plenty of fan favorites, new vendors and a few over-the-top creations, made for mid-inning indulgence.
The classics are still here, of course. But this year, they’ve been joined by everything from lobster rolls to apple pie dumplings. Because who doesn’t want a full-blown food crawl before the seventh-inning stretch?
Magnolia Bakery is officially in the building this year, bringing brownies and blondies to multiple sections across the stadium. If you’re more into savory flexes, King’s Hawaiian is debuting an “Angry Lobster Roll” as well as a chicken parm sandwich on a pretzel bun.
There’s also a heavy trend toward mashups. Brooklyn Dumpling Shop has re-engineered your favorite comfort foods into bite-sized form with a full slate of new dumplings, including bacon cheeseburger, chicken parm and mac and cheese versions. Nearby, Fuku is serving up loaded waffle fries topped with fried chicken, miso ranch and sweet-spicy sauce.
The Yankees’ own in-house menu is also getting an upgrade. The stadium’s cult-favorite 99 Burger (made with two Wagyu patties and secret sauce) is back, with a new MVP Burger variation adding onion rings and tomato-bacon jam. There’s also a new “Diamond Deal” bucket loaded with tenders, fries and drinks.
Things get a little unhinged on the dessert front. Apple pie nachos—soft serve piled with warm pie filling, caramel and waffle chips—are new this season, along with a mini “dessert chicken bucket” made entirely of ice cream and candy-coated crunch.
And for those who prefer to sip their calories, the Aspen Espresso Martini is back as the stadium’s signature cocktail, alongside Goose Island’s Yankee Stadium-exclusive ale.
At the end of the day, you’re still here for the baseball. But this summer, the food might give it a run for its money.
