Police are looking for a trio of suspects who allegedly robbed a teen just outside of LaGuardia Airport in Queens last week.
According to law enforcement sources, the incident unfolded in the area’s LaGuardia Landing Lights Park, located at 25th Avenue and 79th Street in the 115th Precinct, just after 11 p.m. on March 28 when an 18-year-old man met with a woman whom he “possibly crossed paths with once.”
Shortly after the rendezvous, two men unknown to the victim appeared, approached him with a knife and proceeded to stab him multiple times throughout his body, police said.
After the attack, two of the suspects took the victim’s jacket, before all three perps fled the scene on a Q33 MTA bus.
Police on Saturday release survellience photos of the three suspects, who remain at large. So far, no arrests have been made, but the investigation remains ongoing.
Anyone with information regarding the incident can call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (for Spanish, dial 888-57-PISTA). You can also submit tips online at crimestoppers.nypdonline.org, or on X (formerly Twitter) @NYPDTips. All calls and messages are kept confidential.
The robbery took place just days before Mayor Zohran Mamdani and Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch announced a decline in major crimes across the city.
