NEW YORK (WABC) — Car fanatics are gearing up the 126th New York International Auto Show, opening Friday at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
The show features two floors of displays with hundreds of brand-new and customized vehicles from over 30 manufacturers. Auto history buffs will enjoy exhibits showcasing the past and present of automotive innovation.
Attendees can also get behind the wheel with four test tracks indoors, and two more outside.
Roughly 40% of people that come to the auto show are looking to leave with the keys to a new set of wheels.
Organizers expect between 400,000 and 500,000 people to flood the auto show over the next few days.
The show officially opens on Friday and will conclude on April 12th.
