An off-duty NYPD cop was arrested and charged after he pummeled an alleged sex creep, according to police and a criminal complaint.
Capt. Kai Bowen, 42, allegedly grabbed 67-year-old Mahadeo Narain threw him on the ground, wailed on him with his fists, kicked him in the leg – all before he began to choke him out, as stated in a criminal complaint.
The cop was arrested in Queens and charged with assault in the second degree, criminal obstruction of breathing and harassment last Wednesday, authorities said.
The elderly Narain suffered lacerations to his face, red marks on his shoulders, bruising to his leg, as well as substantial pain, according to prosecutors.
He was later taken to Jamaica Hospital to be treated for his injuries, the complaint stated.
Just a day before, Narain had been charged with a bevy of creepy crimes, including forcible touching, endangering the welfare of a child and sexual abuse in the third degree, according to a separate complaint.
Narain allegedly groped a 15-year-old girl’s breasts, squeezed her, and attempted to kiss her, the other complaint stated.

The young girl is believed to be a relative of Bowen’s, sources told PIX 11.
Bowen was released of his own recognizance and is due back in court April 27.
“We’re confident that Kai did nothing criminal and at the end of the day, when the facts come out, the public will understand what happened here,” Keith Welz, an attorney for Bowen, told The Post.
Narain was placed on supervised released and hit with an order of protection against the teen he allegedly groped. He is due back in court May 6.
