DUBLIN, Calif. — K1 Speed has locations throughout the Bay Area and is a great option for group events, parties, and just racing. The electric go-karts are fast and quiet. The folks at each location are ready to teach and advise drivers around the tracks. So, get ready, set, go-kart.
“Most go-karts are started with gas and have a bunch of emissions. We have a zero-emissions go-kart company, and it’s all indoors and you can still breathe,” said Aziz M., West Coast General Manager at K1 Speed.
K1 offers a plethora of packages to race. They also have large arcades along with space for parties, company offsites and team building. There are also food offerings and lounges to enjoy. The track welcomes all ages over the height restriction to race.
“It’s a fantastic place to do a birthday party, bachelor party or just a good get together for family and friends. It’s a good place to make a day out of,” said Aziz.
Drivers of all experience levels can enjoy the different tracks at each location. K1 offers classes and instruction, including one-on-one teaching.
“We start from the beginning. How to position your hands, how to position your feet, and how to position your body. You’re basically learning how to drive a regular automobile, with the ten and two. We start with the basics and then get into the racing,” said Aziz.
There are plenty of food options to break up your racing. Each location offers a different spin and atmosphere. Locations in California are located in South San Francisco, Dublin, and Santa Clara.
