You won’t be able to check out of “Hotel California” The Eagles at Sphere anytime you like soon.
Allegedly, after their eight remaining gigs in February, March and April 2026, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers are leaving Las Vegas for good.
“I think this year will probably be it… and I’m OK with that,” frontman Don Henley said in an extended interview with CBS Morning News about the eventual end of their record-breaking Sin City residency.
If you’d like to see Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, Vince Gill and Glenn Frey’s son Deacon one last time before they hang up their six-strings, tickets are available for all of their remaining gigs.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on seats for any one show was $420 including fees on StubHub for their April 11 concert, which happens to be their last at Sphere.
Other shows have tickets starting anywhere from $437 to $658 including fees.
While pricey, it’s hard to put a price on seeing one of the greatest classic rock groups live.
As for what you’ll be treated to should you attend, The Eagles typically perform 20ish songs per show including mega hits like “Hotel California,” “Life In The Fast Lane,” “One Of These Nights,” “Desperado” and “Heartache Tonight” as well as Henley and Walsh solo favorites “The Boys Of Summer” and “Life’s Been Good” among others, according to Set List FM.
That’s not to mention Sphere’s larger-than-life, immersive, wraparound graphics that marry the band’s iconic lyrics with visuals that bring them to life a wife never seen before.
“I have been going to rock shows since 1977, and last night was the most amazing entertainment experience I have ever witnessed,” Skid Row singer Sebastian Bach gushed, according to Anti Music.
“…imagine seeing your heroes like Joe Walsh, Don Henley, Timothy B Schmidt playing a concert where they are the size of King Kong or Godzilla in real life. I took video footage last night but there’s no point in posting it because a cell phone could never capture the size, majesty, detail of Eagles at the Sphere. There is no phone or film that could ever prepare you for what you experience watching a rock concert at the Sphere. I don’t even know if this could classify as a rock show, because a normal rock show does not even come close to what I saw last night. Imagine being up in the stratosphere seats and feeling like the whole building is moving to the point where you feel like you are on a roller coaster ride at an amusement park; that is how intense the concert was last night. I will never forget last night. I have seen the future of rock concerts! I cannot imagine what technology is going to bring to us next. my mind is completely blown.”

The Eagles band members
When you’ve been “taking it to the limit” since 1971, there’s bound to be a bit of shakeup in your group.
Still, after 50+ years together, 78-year-old founding member Don Henley (drums, vocals, also known for the timeless ’80s smash “Boys of Summer), continues to head the group.
At all Sphere dates, he’s joined by 78-year-old Joe Walsh (who also fronted The James Gang), 78-year-old Timothy B. Schmit (bassist and vocalist who played with Poco), 22-time Grammy winner Vince Gill and the late Glenn Frey’s 30-something son, Deacon.
Past members that are no longer with the band include Frey (who passed away in 2016) and Randy Meisner (he left this mortal coil in 2023). Bernie Leadon is still alive but hasn’t played with the band since 2016. As for guitarist Don Felder, he recently toured with Styx and REO Speedwagon’s Kevin Cronin, although The Post reported he suffered a medical emergency at a show in 2025.
Over the course of the group’s half-century together, The Eagles have received six Grammy Awards, performed over 1,000 concerts, and sold over 150 million albums.
Yeah, turns out they really did “Take It To The Limit.”
