They’re New York’s Funnest!
A handful of playful NYPD officers was spotted chucking snowballs at each other and taking cover from return fire behind a road divider on Park Avenue near East 65th Street in Manhattan during the blizzard.
They engaged in battle just steps away from a tall, well-crafted, smiling snowman.
The footage of the snow patrollers quickly went viral online, with one commenting, “The cops having a snowball fight gives me hope for humanity.”
It was one of many fun moments in the wake of the blizzard that dropped over 20 inches of snow on the Big Apple and its surrounding suburbs.
Some resident son Long Island, which saw some of the area’s highest totals, also leaned into laughs while snowed in.
One man in Seaford was seen mushing his trio of dogs down what’s usually a busy street while on skis with two poles.
Another man, still reveling in the American men’s hockey team taking gold, snowboarded into his own house in a Team USA jersey — down a massive mound of white stuff Mother Nature left on his outside stairs.
As with the Canadians, he came up short and flopped.
Anthony Laurino, a sassy pizzaolo who runs Phil’s in Syosset, also posted a video of himself using a regular slice as a measuring stick for snow accumulation Sunday night.
