MAMARONECK, New York (WABC) — Several people were rescued after a fire broke out at a house in Westchester County on Monday.
The two-alarm fire broke out just after 5 p.m. at a home on Lester Avenue in Mamaroneck.
Six people were rescued and brought to Jacobi Medical Center for smoke inhalation, according to officials.
Officers performed the rescue on the ladder while firefighters were battling the flames.
The American Red Cross said they have registered 13 adults and six children for emergency services.
The fire is under investigation.
