NEW JERSEY (WABC) — New Jersey Transit riders are bracing for a ripple effect of lengthy delays as overhead wire issues impacted trains near Newark.
NJ Transit is suspended on the Northeast Corridor Line between Penn Station New York and Trenton and on the North Jersey Coast Line between Penn Station New York and Woodbridge.
Raritan Valley Line trains will originate and terminate at Newark Penn Station.
NJ Transit police and a rescue train are accommodating customers from a disabled train at Newark Liberty Airport Station.
Rail tickets and passes are being cross-honored by PATH at Newark, Hoboken and 33rd Street, New York.
