NEW YORK (WABC) — Nurses at Mount Sinai Hospital and Mount Sinai Morningside and West reached tentative agreements on workplace violence during negotiations Thursday, one of the main issues on the table.
Nurses at Montefiore reached tentative agreements on safe staffing, including adding nurses to cover breaks, so nurses can take breaks during a 12-hour shift without putting the safety of their patients at risk.
The announcements, made by the union on Friday morning reflect the most progress during a single day of negotiations so far in the strike, which enters day 26 on Friday.
Nurses will rally at Montefiore Bronx later Friday morning.
