A corpse was discovered inside a burning dumpster near a Queens strip mall early Monday, cops said.
The grisly discovery was made before 7 a.m. when they found an adult male’s body inside the flaming receptacle outside the Conduit Plaza strip on North Conduit Avenue near Springfield Boulevard in Springfield Gardens, authorities said.
The FDNY descended on the scene when they received a call of a dumpster fire with someone possibly inside, officials said.
The man, whose age was not immediately known, was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.
The blaze was extinguished by the first FDNY units at the scene, and its cause remains under investigation by fire marshals, the department said.

The city medical examiner’s office will officially determine how the man died, and the investigation is ongoing, cops said.
Conduit Plaza is home to Popeye’s, Dunkin’, Subway, and a laundromat, among other businesses.
