ROSELLE PARK, New Jersey (WABC) — A raging fire broke out at a construction and flooring materials warehouse in Union County, New Jersey on Thursday.
Authorities are advising residents to keep their windows and doors closed as the air quality may be diminished due to heavy smoke in the area.
“A lot of black smoke, there was a lot of explosions in the beginning from the propane tanks, resins, they’re a flooring company, so oils, but we made sure everybody was safe and we did a perimeter to make sure the walls don’t collapse,” Joseph Signorello, Jr, Roselle Park Mayor, said.
The fire broke out just before 5 p.m. at Crossfield Products on Valley Road in Roselle Park and has grown to 6-alarms.
Fire officials have not reported any injuries.
