WILLOWBROOK, Staten Island (WABC) — A two-alarm fire burned through a home on Staten Island early Friday morning.
Heavy flames could be seen throughout the three stories of the home.
The fire broke out just before 6 a.m. on Norwalk Avenue near Manor Road.
Windy conditions hampered the efforts of firefighters, as they struggled to bring the fire under control.
Firefighters were also working to prevent the spread of the fire to other homes nearby.
So far, there is no word of any injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
