$13.9M winning New York LOTTO ticket sold on Long Island, two $1M Powerball tickets sold in NY

HICKSVILLE, Nassau County (WABC) — A lucky New York LOTTO ticket that won a jackpot worth $13.9 million was sold at a small business on Long Island.

The ticket was sold at Lovely Cards and Gifts at 416 South Oyster Bay Road in Hicksville.

It matched all six numbers in the December 24 drawing, which were 4-11-23-38-41-49 and Bonus Number 26.

Whoever the lucky winner is has up to a year to claim the prize.

It was a lucky night for New Yorkers as two tickets sold in New York state in the Powerball drawing matched all five white balls and won the $1 million second-place prize.

Those tickets were sold at the Ultra Gas Station, 571 West Montauk Highway in Lindenhurst, and Smiley’s Stop N Shop, 17 West Main Street, in Sidney, in Delaware County.
